Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 6, 2026

The short version: We collect only what we need to help your family find care — your name, contact details, and what's going on with your parent. We use it to match care homes and set up tours. A home hears about you only when you choose it. We never sell your information, and we never give it to marketers or lead brokers. Details about health and care needs get extra protection under Washington law — see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

Spokane Senior Home Advisors is a trade name of Able Years LLC, a Washington limited liability company. We are an elder and vulnerable adult referral agency operating under chapter 18.330 RCW, Washington's law for senior placement services. We help families in Spokane County find licensed adult family homes and other licensed care settings.

Questions about this policy: call (509) 471-0411 or email hello@spokaneseniorhomeadvisors.com.

2. What we collect

Information you give us. When you call, text, or send our form, we collect your name, phone number, and email; who needs care and your relationship to them; the care situation you describe (for example, memory changes, a recent fall, help needed with daily activities); how soon you need a place; how care will be paid; location and language preferences. Details about health and care needs are "consumer health data" under Washington law and are covered by our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy.

Calls and texts. We keep records of our conversations with you so your advisor has the full picture. Some calls are answered by an automated assistant and may be recorded. If a call is recorded, we say so at the start of the call, and by staying on the line you agree to the recording.

Website basics. Like most websites, we collect standard technical information: pages visited, browser and device type, and approximate location from your IP address, through basic analytics. We do not feed the care details you type into any advertising tool.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to understand your family's needs, search our registry of licensed homes, build your shortlist, arrange and attend tours, follow up after a move-in, and answer your questions. We also use it to keep the records Washington law requires us to keep, and to run and improve our service.

We do not use your information for anything unrelated to helping your family find care.

4. Who sees your information

  • Care homes you choose. When you ask us to arrange a tour or an introduction, we share your contact information and the relevant care needs with that home — with your authorization, as Washington's referral law requires. A home never hears about you before that.
  • Service providers. Companies that run our phone and text system, our secure database, our website hosting, and our email delivery process information on our behalf, under contract, only on our instructions.
  • Advertising measurement. If you reached us through an online ad, we may tell the ad platform that the click led to an inquiry or a completed match, using the ad's click identifier. We do not send ad platforms your name, phone number, or any care details.
  • Legal reasons. We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's health or safety.

We never sell your information. We never share it with marketers or lead brokers.

5. Calls and texts from us

We call and text only about your request. Message frequency varies with your situation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to end texts; reply HELP for help. You can also just tell us to stop, and we will.

6. How long we keep information

Washington law requires referral agencies to keep client records for six years (RCW 18.330.040). Once we no longer need information and the law no longer requires us to keep it, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you. Under Washington law, our records that identify a client are treated as confidential health care information (chapter 70.02 RCW), and you have the right to see our records about you on request.

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • See a copy of the information we have about you
  • Correct something that's wrong
  • Delete your information — we'll delete everything the law doesn't require us to keep, and tell you if a six-year record rule applies to the rest
  • Stop calls, texts, or emails

Washington residents have additional rights over health-related information, including the rights to access, delete, and withdraw consent — see our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy for how those work. We will never treat you differently for using any of these rights.

To make any request, call (509) 471-0411 or email hello@spokaneseniorhomeadvisors.com. We'll verify it's you, then respond promptly and at no charge.

8. How we protect your information

Your information is encrypted in transit, stored in an access-restricted database, and kept separate from the public website. Only people who need it to help your family can see it. No system is perfectly secure, so if you ever have a concern, call us and we'll address it directly.

9. Sharing a parent's information

Families usually contact us about a parent or another loved one. Please share their information only if you are their family member, relative, domestic partner, or otherwise authorized to help them find care. We treat their information with the same care as yours, and they have the same rights over it.

10. Children

Our website and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new effective date. For meaningful changes to how we handle health-related information, we'll ask for your consent first, as Washington law requires.
